The jar does not leak, it has a mirror for installing and removing the partials. It has a plastic hook that really works to assist removing partials. It has a brush that I have no use for yet. I unscrew the lid and lift the strain tray and lay my partials and fill with water, drop a cleaning tab in and lower teeth in and close to soak. Close and no leaks. I have it in pink so it is adorable and perfect for this girly girl to travel with. I recommend highly!!!
